Albert Hofmann Bicycle Day Tribute Belt Buckle Cast in Yellow Brass and Sterling Silver by 100mics.
It was 76 years ago this year that Albert Hofmann took that world changing bike ride. Our lives here at 100mics have never been the same because of it. For that, we decided to pay homage to that day and that man by designing this belt buckle.
This original design is cast in solid yellow brass with intricate details of sunshine rays coming out of LSD letters and drops of LSD molecules raining down upon a raised sterling silver casting of Albert Hofmann who is melting on his bicycle. The details in this buckle are amazing. The buckle measures 2" by 3".
The back side of this limited edition buckle of 108 reads - Bicycle day, April 19th, 1943 with a quote from Dr Albert Hofmann -
"LSD is a tool to turn us into what we are supposed to be".
